This morning on the coach I listened to music. This was entertaining and provided an escape for me, making me forget I was on my way to school.

Why do people consume this media?

It informs us on all the current affairs going on around the world.

Hip hop album-
Promotes more music by the same artist/similar artists

Entertainment, it provides perhaps an escape and the listeners may be able to identify with the words of the song.

Documentary-

It educates us on all the things happening within our world

It's also informative and people watch it for their entertainment.

Weather app-

We are informed what the weather will be like.

Advert-

To be persuaded, to become loyal or engage with the brand.

To be informed of the products.

The importance of pre production

It is important to plan as it is very expensive to make an mistake.

Development check-list
The script must speak to the right audience

This script must be revised, polished and approved.

Must make sure you have a budget that fits the needs of the production.

The script is storyboarded- this is visual and so everyone can see visually what is coming next.

Logistics check-list
The talent must be in place- the actors are prepared and ready to start.

Crew- all positions must be filled and aware of their schedule

All the equipment must be in place, exp. cameras

A shot list is available. e.g. The hair dresser works at 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm

The Call sheet

A combination of all the work the actors and crew have to do.

Every single day a new call sheet is needed and shared across every single member working on set that day.

Create a contingency plan exp. location, in case the permission form is not cleared.
